No-name Backyard Feds to Construction-Paper advertising 15 fans into a local armory are good examples of First Tier play. The shows they run are relatively minor, usually promoting in remote homesteads, local villages or distant Suburbs.

They are learning the features that define them as members of particular classes, including the major choices that flavor their class features as they advance.
